“We are totally broken-hearted he was my baby brother” I loved him lots”
These are the words from the sister of Gary Simpson who was tragically found dead on Cleethorpes beach last friday
Cleethorpes News 24 has been speaking to the sister of Gary who sadly died on Cleethorpes beach last week.
He went missing after watching his beloved Leeds United play Derby County on Wednesday May 15th and was tragically found on Cleethorpes beach on Friday.
“He was just my baby brother “ were the words from Anne Simpson, Garys Sister.
I loved him so much, Like I do all of my family. He was my youngest brother, He’d give anyone his last penny and help anyone.
Anne Continued, He didn’t have children of his own, But he loved all his nieces and nephews and and did anything for them.
His three brothers and sister along with his nieces and nephews are devastated and heart broken with Garys tragic death.
Garys friends are heartbroken, they loved him too and it’s really affected them.
Gary loved playing football , He was a proud Leeds United supporter and loved that team.
He was a good boxer when he was younger and just loved sport.
Gary was brought up and lived in the Meanwood area of Leeds and was working in the Cleethorpes area doing roofing.
We just don’t know what actually happened on that night after he watched his favourite football team.
We are just truly heartbroken that we have had Gary taken from us too soon we are really missing him and its really hurting ,We all just loved him so much.
