Lincolnshire and Humberside firefighters have been dealing with major fire in Louth earlier today.

Up to seventeen appliances have been dealing with the blaze.

Scores of firefighters have been called to a huge blaze at a farm in Louth.

Up to 17 fire engines from across the Lincolnshire and Humberside fire services are at the scene, off Legbourne Road.

The fire is believed to involve a barn and a number of hay stacks and the road has been closed to traffic.

Firefighters were first called at around 4.15pm this afternoon and have remained at the scene since then.

These pictures sent to the newsdesk show the severity of the blaze.

Kenwick Road, overlooking the farm, has been blocked by the large number of bystanders stopping to watch the massive blaze and take photos.

A large fire has broken out at on an industrial estate in Stallingborough.

Humberside Fire and Rescue are at the scene on Trondheim Way and smoke can be seen from miles around, including on Grimsby’s West Marsh and in Immingham.

Six boys arrested after arson attack last night in Humberston Field

Humberside Fire Service were called out around 5.45 pm yesterday evening after a farmers field was believed to have been deliberately set on fire.

Six 14yr old boys have been arrested after the major fire last night at Humberston.

Appliances from different areas of Humberside Fire and Rescue were called out deal with a major fire in Humberston yesterday evening.

The blaze, Which is being treated as arson was reported around 5.45pm last night.

Aftermath of the fire

Fire services could be seen cutting through metal fences to gain access to the fields as the fire threatened to spread even further

Horses in nearby fields were being spooked by the fire and people could be seen trying to round them up.

Our photographer saw two deer frightened in the corner of the field which was ablaze but they remained in the corner safely away from the fire.

The blaze will cost the owners thousands of pounds as the fire has complety ruined the whole field and crop.

The fire was eventually brought under control much to the relief of all involved.

Humberside fire service stayed on for a while longer to make sure everything was dampened down and out.

Investigations will continue to try and find who caused the fire.

Arson believed to be cause of major fire earlier this evening in Humberston

Large amount of emergency fire services were called out to deal with suspected arson attack to a farmers crop

Humberside Fire and Rescue were called out earlier this evening after a farmers field off SouthSea Lane had been set alight.

It has destroyed over 120 acres of field. It is believed to have been started deliberately and the owner “said” it was the third attempt on the farm in the last ten days.
