Suspected Arson attack on Tivoli Gardens Flat

It Happened yesterday evening and the woman occupant suffered from smoke inhalation

Humberside police appeal following fire at Tivoli Gardens.

We are investigating a fire at Tivoli Gardens that happened at 9.30pm yesterday (Monday 7 October).

The front door of the flat was set alight. We are treating the fire as a suspected arson and believe it might have been targeted at the previous occupant of the flat.

The woman who now lives at the flat suffered from smoke inhalation from the fire and her property has been damaged.

Six boys arrested after arson attack last night in Humberston Field

Humberside Fire Service were called out around 5.45 pm yesterday evening after a farmers field was believed to have been deliberately set on fire.

Six 14yr old boys have been arrested after the major fire last night at Humberston.

Appliances from different areas of Humberside Fire and Rescue were called out deal with a major fire in Humberston yesterday evening.

The blaze, Which is being treated as arson was reported around 5.45pm last night.

Fire services could be seen cutting through metal fences to gain access to the fields as the fire threatened to spread even further

Horses in nearby fields were being spooked by the fire and people could be seen trying to round them up.

Our photographer saw two deer frightened in the corner of the field which was ablaze but they remained in the corner safely away from the fire.

The blaze will cost the owners thousands of pounds as the fire has complety ruined the whole field and crop.

The fire was eventually brought under control much to the relief of all involved.

Humberside fire service stayed on for a while longer to make sure everything was dampened down and out.

Investigations will continue to try and find who caused the fire.

It’s been fun at the Firemans fete today firemen getting dunked

After a 7 year wait the firemans fete returned and it looked fun

After a 7 year wait the firemans fete returned to peaked lane fire station and hundreds turned for the family fun.

The rain held off and looked friends and family enjoyed the fete.

Police want to speak to this man

Police want to speak to this man following an arson attack on Farebrother Street that threatened the lives of a mum and her three children.

Humberside Police have released CCTV footage following the incident in the early hours of Wednesday April 10. 

A mum and her three children were only saved from the blaze in their front doorway after they were alerted to it by their two-year-old Dogue de Bordeaux, Kaiser.

The man is of stocky build, with brown hair and a small moustache on his upper lip, and is pictured wearing a navy blue Hugo Boss jumper, with red and white stripes on the sleeves, and a red hat.

Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We are appealing for help to ID the man shown in these CCTV images.

“We want to speak to him in connection with a fire at a house on Farebrother Street in Grimsby at around 3am on Wednesday 10 April.

“Do you recognise him?  If you know who he is please call us on the non-emergency number 101 quoting reference 16/46122/19.”

Fire Service Attend Hainton Ave Earlier Tonight

Humberside Fire Service At Hainton Ave Tonight.

The fire service attended the property after smoke alarms went off in a house on Hainton ave Grimsby around 6.30 earlier tonight.

Two fire appliances and crews dealt with the situation checking through the whole property some BA gear was used and extinguishers were seen to be used.

After they had thoroughly checked the property it was stated it was a electrical fault in one of the bedrooms in the property which had set the smok alarms off.

The commander in charge has us to put a warning out for everyone to check their smoke alarms every week to make sure they are not faulty and in working order.
