Body found on Cleethorpes beach
Police have released a statement confirming that the body is that of man.

Humberside Police said, “It’s thought the man who is in 30s, hadn’t been in the water very long.
CSI arrive earlier at the scene.
Police say their enquiries are at a very early stage and we are currently treating the mans death as unexplained at this present time.
The Body has been moved and will be getting examined by a Home Office pathologist today. It’s believed this will happen in Hull.

Police and coastguard were called around 8.45 this morning after receiving a call that a body was on the beach.

Body recovered from Humber confirmed as female

Following the recovery of a body from the Humber Estuary yesterday afternoon, we can confirm the deceased is a woman.
The post-mortem examination is underway and is expected to continue into the evening.
We have been in contact and informed those that needed to be made aware of the recovery.
Formal identification is still yet to take place and we remain unable at this stage to confirm her identity.
Sad News From Grimsby. Body recovered from Humber Estuary
Grimsby 20 Mar 2019 A body has been recovered from the Humber Estuary this afternoon, (Wednesday, 20 March), in close proximity to Grimsby Docks. At this stage it is too early for any identification or confirmation of gender to be made. Further information will be released as soon as we are in a position that we are able to do so
The Grimsby coroner has been informed.
