A 30-year-old man from Nottinghamshire has been charged with seven different offences following a police pursuit and an armed police operation on Tuesday 23 July.

Christopher Webster, 30, from Victoria Street in Newark was arrested in Brigg on Tuesday following information passed onto us by Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire Police.

He’s been charged with two counts of threatening a person with a meat cleaver in Newark and in Immingham, robbery, and attempted robbery.

He’s also been charged with dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and damage to property.

We’d like to thank our colleagues in both forces for their help in this matter.

We’re still appealing for any witnesses to come forward who may have seen an incident in the Aldi car park off Washdyke Lane in Immingham between 6 and 7pm on Tuesday 23 July to contact us with any information.

Logs 282 and 523 of 23 July 19 refer.
