Rapist on the loose in Lincolnshire after absconding from prison
Police have not to approach him
Police are hunting a convicted rapist who is on the run from prison.
Stephen Tierney, 39, absconded from HMP North Sea Camp near Boston on Wednesday, July 3.
He is about 5ft 7ins, of small build, with brown/ginger hair. He has the word ‘wrist’ tattooed on his right arm.
A police spokesman said: “He was last seen in Boston Market Place yesterday. He may have used public transport to travel to Lincoln.
“Tierney has connections to Northamptonshire and London.”
The spokesman added: “Tierney has been assessed as posing a medium risk of violence towards the public who are advised not to approach him.
“He is serving a sentence for a previous rape offence.”
