It was believed to have involved around a dozen people who were all fighting.
Three people have been arrested following a street fight on Grimsby’s Grange estate that left two people with head injuries.
A man and a woman were taken to hospital following the incident on Carnforth Crescent last night.
Detectives investigating the incident, which happened at about 7pm, are now appealing for anyone who has footage of the incident, or who saw it, to get in touch.
Detective Sergeant Ian Potter said: “We received a report at around 7pm last night that a group of individuals were fighting in the street.
“Officers and ambulance crews attended quickly and a man and a woman were taken to hospital with cuts to their heads and bruising.
“Three men have been arrested in connection with the incident, they remain in our custody at this time whilst our enquiries continue.
Police sealed off Carnforth Crescent in Grimsby last night following a street fight involving around a dozen people.
The Grange estate road was closed between Chepstow Grove and Sherwood Road.
There was a heavy police presence with at least eight officers at the cordon and eight police vehicles at the scene
A Humberside Police spokesperson said: “We received a report around 7pm that a group of individuals were fighting in the street. It’s thought around a dozen people were involved.
“Officers and ambulance crews attended quickly and a man and a woman were taken to hospital with cuts to their heads and bruising. Their injuries are not serious.”
Extra police patrols were put in the area to provide public reassurance. It’s thought the people are all known to each other.
Police did confirm, That one person had been arrested on suspicion of affray.
A crime scene investigator arrived at the scene a while after the incident to gather evidence.
