Humberside Police have confirmed that Hossam Metwally, 58, will appear at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court
A man has been charged with administering a noxious substance after an woman was admitted to hospital in an “unresponsive and serious” condition.
Police have this morning confirmed that Hossam Metwally, 58, is due to appear in court, charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm and administering a noxious substance.
A force statement released this morning said: “Hossam Metwally, aged 58, of Grimsby, is remanded to appear before Grimsby and Cleethorpes Magistrates’ Court on Monday, July 8, charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm (GBH) and administering a noxious substance.”
Humberside Police officers are investigating after receiving a call from staff at the Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby on Friday night, who were concerned about the safety of a woman who had been admitted in an “unresponsive condition”.
