Cleethorpes Armed Robber Jailed
An armed robber has been locked up for 3yrs.
Gavin Roberts was jailed at Grimsby Crown Court after he admitted robbery and possessing a blade at the Lavender Hill salon in Cleethorpes.
Roberts entered the salon and brought out what was believed to be a large serrated blade and threatened the lone member of staff who was in the salon.
He grabbed money from the worker and demanded to know were the rest of the money was, before rifling through the drawers finding no more money.
He took the money and another item from the salon then ran away from the salon.
The salon worker was left very shocked after the robbery and no longer works at the salon.
Robert’s was jailed for 3yrs.
