CCTV appeal following reported rape on Railway Street

Detectives investigating a reported rape on Railway Street, Grimsby shortly after midnight on Sunday 10 March have today released this footage in an appeal to identify the man shown.
Detective Chief Inspector Stu Miller said: “We are appealing for the man in this footage, or anyone who knows him, to get in touch as we believe that he may have information that could assist with our enquiries.
“I would also like to hear from anybody that has dashcam footage from driving down Freeman Street, Railway Street, Garibaldi Street or Albion Street between midnight and 1am on Sun 10 March.
“The investigation into this report remains a priority for us and I have a dedicated team working tirelessly to find out exactly what happened that night.
“I appreciate the impact that a report of this nature can have on the local community and I want to reassure you that we have increased patrols in the area. I would encourage anyone with any concerns to speak to an officer who will be able to offer you advice to help you stay safe.
“Specialist teams are continuing to support the victim through this difficult time.”
Two men have been arrested in connection with the reported rape, both have been released on conditional bail whilst our enquiries continue.

We have had these images taken from the footage, whilst we appreciate that they are not the best quality we are appealing for anyone that recognises the man to get in touch.
We are also appealing for the driver of this taxi to get in touch as they may have seen something that could help with our enquiries.
