There was a serious Rtc last night on Hewitts Avenue Grimsby.
41yr old man arrested on suspicion of drink driving and being over the prescribed limit.
Police and and ambulance service were at the scene of a serious Rtc last night it happened around 11pm.
It looked like a couple of cars and a motorcycle were involved. Paramedics and ambulance service were on hand dealing with the scene.
The road was closed from the junction of Tesco to the junction of peaks lane New Waltham as the accident was dealt with.
It looks like a red car and a black one along with a motorcycle were involved but couldn’t see from the distance and police would not say at the time.
All traffic was turned away from both junctions and told to find other routes.
Traffic police were seen gathering evidence from the and checking the road.
An ambulance left the scene at around midnight while police and other services stay at the scene.
Police released a statement today.
A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of driving whilst over the prescribed limit and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
“He remains in our custody whilst enquires continue.
“Anyone with any information about the collision, who has not already spoken to us, is asked to call our non-emergency number on 101 quoting log 715 on 05/05/19.”
